What a gem of a place. cozy atmosphere and exceptional food! Though the service was occasionally spotty, the friendly staff made up for it. A lovely experience overall, with a standout breakfast and great beers, but some noise from the bar was a bit disruptive.

Dining was a highlight, with a varied menu and quickly-served breakfast. The location provided easy access to the stunning beach and charming village atmosphere, though the parking situation could be more accommodating.

The stay was quite pleasant, with a spacious and comfortable Deluxe King Room. We enjoyed the lovely bar area and the restaurant, where the food was delicious—my favorite was the breakfast. there was a misunderstanding at checkout regarding additional drinks we hadn’t ordered, which was a bit frustrating. Despite that, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy, making it a good place to unwind after a day exploring the nearby beach and galleries.

just love the whittling house! location is perfect, right on the high street. me and my partner had a king room and it was so comfy, lovely bed. the staff were all super friendly, made us feel right at home. plus our dog mabel had a blast walkin to the beach!

i wish the pillows were a bit softer and the bathroom could've used a little more space.

The room was a king with a large bathroom, featuring fluffy white towels, bathrobes, and free toiletries. Awesome view from the window. The coffee machine was a nice touch, and the biscuits by the coffee pot were delicious. The restaurant had hot, tasty breakfasts and the staff were super nice and helpful. Modern decor added to the vibe.

Our one-night stay was delightful! The king studio offered a cozy retreat after exploring Alnmouth. Enjoyed the fantastic breakfast and friendly service. Don’t miss the three-minute walk to the beach.
